Charlotte Hall Nash
I am supporting Tuwanda Williams for Superior Court because I know she will be an excellent judge. The first word that comes to my mind when I think of Tuwanda is integrity. Over the time we worked together, her honesty was proven over and over again. I know she can be trusted.
I have watched her interact with many different individuals under many different circumstances. She is unfailingly honest and forthright in sharing information and communicates in a manner that is respectful without diluting the message.
Even under the most difficult of situations, she maintains her composure and demonstrates the ability to listen and understand. Everyone can expect her courtroom to be a place where justice is even-handed, but seasoned with compassion when appropriate.

It is my pleasure to announce my endorsement and support of Tuwanda Rush Williams in her candidacy for Gwinnett Superior Court Judge. As the longtime former District Attorney of the Gwinnett Judicial Circuit, I became acquainted with Tuwanda in her capacity as a Senior Assistant County Attorney in 2005. She was relied upon by our staff to provide periodic legal guidance and information about pending civil litigation matters arising from the prosecution of persons by the Assistant District Attorneys in my office. She also handled the defense of malicious prosecution and other civil lawsuits that were filed against the attorneys. As Deputy County Attorney, she continued to provide legally sound advice and guidance on matters that impacted the Gwinnett County Police, Sheriff’s and Corrections Departments, especially during the 2020 Covid outbreak at the Gwinnett Correctional Complex. I believe that her even temper, good judgment, and reliability will make her a great judge.
